• What happened to ALL STARS week?

ALL STARS was 406Cirque's exclusive week-long camp where advanced participants came together to create and perform a unique show for the Sweet Pea Festival. This year, the project will take place within Session III.

Advanced campers enrolled in Session III or Week 7 will be considered for the casting pool to perform on the Family Stage at the Sweet Pea Festival—a highlight of the season.

In addition, the call to join our festival float is now open! Participation in the parade does not require camp enrollment, making it a wonderful opportunity for all children to experience the joy and whimsy of 406Cirque.

• My kids are excited about trying it out but not sure if we can commit to a full session. Do you take any drop ins?

We strongly encourage families to register their children for an entire session. Circus skills require time and practice to master, and a three-week session gives students the chance to achieve milestones like learning to ride a unicycle or creating a trapeze act. The camp curriculum is designed to culminate in a performance at the end of week three—a unique opportunity only available to full-session participants.

We often hear from parents who struggle to get refunds from other camps because, after just one week with us, their kids beg to stay at 406Cirque for the rest of the summer.

That said, we understand that summer is short, and some children enjoy trying a variety of activities. For this reason, single-week enrollments are available during the first week of each session.

• My kid is very shy and has never done any juggling or aerial. Do you think a circus program is the right fit for them?

Absolutely! Circus arts provide a unique and supportive environment where children of all personalities, including those who are shy, can thrive. At 406Cirque, we believe that circus is for everyone, regardless of prior experience. Our program is designed to help children uncover their hidden potential and develop confidence through creative exploration and skill-building.

Our teaching philosophy is rooted in positive reinforcement, fostering a sense of accomplishment at every stage of learning. For shy children, the mix of individual practice, personalized one-on-one coaching, and group collaboration allows them to progress at their own pace while feeling supported by both instructors and peers.

Circus training isn’t just about mastering tricks; it’s about building self-confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. Many shy students find that the circus community provides a welcoming and encouraging space where they can step out of their comfort zone and experience the joy of personal growth.

• When do spots for this camp typically fill?

Session 1 typically sells out by Valentine's day. Our final spots for the whole summer typically fill by spring break. After that, we open a waitlist, and availability will depend on any cancellations. Secure your camper's spot early to avoid disappointment!

• Do you offer scholarships or financial aid? How do we apply?

Yes, we are proud to offer scholarships and financial aid each season, ensuring that the magic of circus arts is accessible to as many children as possible. Our commitment to inclusivity means that financial barriers should never stand in the way of a child’s opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive through our programs.

To apply for financial aid, please email us at 406cirque@gmail.com. We will guide you through the simple application process and provide all the information needed to explore available options.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generous donors and sponsors who make these scholarships possible. Their contributions enable us to share the transformative power of circus with families in our community, creating opportunities that inspire joy, resilience, and creativity in children from all walks of life.

To all of you:

THANK YOU.
