Classes

at 406Cirque

Circus, movement, and creative practice—for adults, teens, and youth.

Circus is a rare training ground where strength, coordination, focus, and creativity develop at the same time. It challenges the body, sharpens attention, and invites play without sacrificing rigor.

At 406Cirque, classes are spaces to train, explore, and belong.

Whether you’re here to build strength, refine technique, or try something entirely new, our programs meet you where you are—and take you further than you expect.

How Classes Work

406Cirque classes are open to adults and youth.

The program is designed to balance continuity and flexibility: some classes follow a sequential progression, while others allow for drop-in participation.

This structure supports consistent skill development while accommodating varied schedules and entry points.

What to Expect

  • Experienced coaches who love what they do
  • Clearly defined progressions (Beginner → Intermediate → Advanced)
  • Opportunity for creative expression
  • Small group sizes with intentional pacing and individualized attention
  • A welcoming, supportive space where everyone can focus, play, and grow

What We Offer

Aerial & Vertical Arts

Silks • Lyra • Trapeze • Hammock

Build strength, coordination, and aerial awareness through structured, progressive training.

Classes prioritize technique, safety, and intentional movement—supporting both first-time flyers and experienced aerialists refining complex sequences.

Balance & Acrobatics

Acrobatics • Hand Balancing • Tumbling

Build strength, mobility and confidence through foundational circus training.

Classes emphasize safety, balance, and control—developing strength you can rely on.

Open to curious beginners and dedicated artists preparing for advanced training, this is a place to start, deepen, and commit.

Juggling & Flow Arts

Explore juggling, flow arts, and object manipulation as tools for timing, spatial awareness, and creative focus.

Classes build dexterity and presence through structured progression and open experimentation.

Suitable for both beginners and experienced movers.

Movement & Somatic Practices

Suzuki • Improvisation • Conditioning • Viewpoints

Classes that cultivate bodily awareness, coordination, and creative agency. Sessions are structured with intention, balancing clear sequencing with guided exploration and space to move without performance pressure.

Designed for contemporary dancers and curious movers alike, these offerings invite investigation, choice, and physical dialogue—supporting expressive range and physical clarity in conversation with circus and performance practice.

Yoga at 406Cirque

Our yoga classes move with intention—building strength, mobility, and clarity. Sequencing is deliberate, cueing is precise, and space is left for choice.

Open Training

Open studio is a time for individuals 18+ to move, train, and explore at their own pace. This is not a class. It’s a shared space for independent practice.

Aerial Open Training requires a skills test to ensure you can train safely on your own. The test includes demonstrating basic climbs, inversions, and safe dismounts. To schedule your test, contact us at registrations@406cirque.com or ask your instructor!

Social Dance

A rotating series dedicated to social and expressive dance forms.

Each Friday highlights a distinct style—Latin, Swing, Tango, or Ecstatic—inviting participants to move with music, rhythm, and others in the room. These sessions prioritize connection, musicality, and embodied enjoyment over technique or choreography.

Open-level, welcoming, and designed as an end-of-week release rather than a class you have to “get right.”

Registration & Policies

  • Advance registration is required for all semester-long classes
  • Drop-ins available for select classes.
