What ages can participate at 406Cirque?

Programs serve youth and adults. Offerings range from youth circus education to adult classes, open training, and performances.

Do I need prior circus experience to join?

No. 406Cirque offers classes and workshops for a range of levels. Many classes are designed for beginners, while others support intermediate and advanced practitioners.

What adult programs does 406Cirque offer?

406Cirque’s adult program includes aerial, yoga, and theater classes in addition to open gym training, workshops, and social events. Our adult circus program welcomes participants ages 18 and up, from complete beginners to experienced movers. Classes are designed to build strength, creativity, and community.

What is Adult Open Gym at 406Cirque?

Adult Open Gym is supervised studio time for adults to train independently. 406Cirque provides equipment for those who do not have their own. A coach is on site to offer encouragement and suggest progressions.

I’m new to circus. Is there a dress code?

Wear clothing that allows full range of movement. For aerial and tumbling classes, leggings or sweatpants with a fitted top or leotard are recommended.

Clean indoor athletic shoes are required for applicable classes. Outdoor footwear—including muddy shoes and snow boots—are not permitted in the studio.

For safety, no jewelry, zippers, rivets, or clothing with hard or sharp elements are permitted on the aerial apparatus.

What is 406Cirque Summer Camp?

A Our Circus Camp is a summer favorite in Bozeman, Montana! We have options for campers ages 4 and up. Each camp session immerses kids in the joy of circus arts — from aerials and juggling to acrobatics and creative games. Campers make friends, build confidence, and perform in end-of-week showcases that celebrate their growth and imagination.

Where do summer camps take place?

There are two locations for summer camp: Petra Academy (4720 Classical Drive) and 406Cirque (2317 Birdie Drive)

How do I register for classes and camps?

You can view the full schedule and registration options directly on our website. Simply choose your preferred class, workshop, or camp session and sign up online. If you’re new, our team can help you find the right level and program for your goals. Summer Camp registration opens January 31st.

Is there an afterschool circus program for kids?

Absolutely. 406Cirque offers after-school circus classes throughout the school year in Bozeman. Kids and teens explore skills like unicycle, acrobatics, aerial arts, and clowning, all while developing coordination, teamwork, and self-confidence. These classes are a great way for students to stay active and creative after school.

​Does 406Cirque put on performances?

Yes. 406Cirque creates original circus and stage works, community showcases, and private events throughout the year. Our signature productions include Spooktacular, A Circus Carol, Broken Hearts..

Alongside these productions, we host open stages, stand-up comedy, and work-in-progress showings that give artists space to test material, develop new work, and engage audiences in an informal setting. From fully realized productions to experimental formats, performance is central to how we share circus and live art with the Bozeman community.

Can I book you for an event?

You can! We provide professional circus entertainment for private events, festivals, fundraisers, and corporate gatherings in Bozeman and beyond. Contact us to create a custom entertainment experience.

Is the 406Cirque Studio available for rental?

Studio rental is available on a case-by-case basis, dependent on availability. We have hosted parties, stand-up shows, and workshops.

Does 406Cirque teach workshops for schools, conferences, or corporate retreats?
