Our Impact

And we mean yours and ours, together.

A diverse audience sits in a dark theater, clapping and smiling as they watch a performance or event on stage.
406Cirque incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2025 after 7 years of existence as a local business. We may be new to this legal structure, but our work isn’t new, and neither is the impact we’re making!

Real Impact Is Measured in Moments

Here’s what our students, audience members, and other participants say about our impact.

Moments of

Growth

Several performers in colorful outfits do aerial acrobatics on hanging silks against a dark background. The words REDEFINING FAILURE are overlaid diagonally across the central performer.

“The growth, emotionally and physically, I have witnessed has been astonishing.

Paúl and his team truly love what they do, and truly love the kids. They are full of encouragement, and the most meaningful part for us has been that they teach the children that failure is a normal part of life, and helps you grow; that failure is progress.”

– Katie D.

A young girl rides a unicycle on stage in a spotlight, with the words “PUSHING YOUR LIMITS” curved around her in bold white letters.

“I can not say enough positive things about Cirque 406. The staff is caring, inclusive, talented, and passionate.

While learning all things circus, my kids also learned how to take appropriate risks and about pushing themselves past their comfort zones, and in turn gained more confidence. Thank you Camp 406, you all ROCK.”

– Sara Wellhausen

A woman practices aerial silks in front of a vibrant, colorful mural while a coach watches. The text BEING A FIRST-TIMER is angled alongside her.

“I learned how to ride a unicycle for the first time which was awesome.

Also, I loved stretching with the silks.”

– Rex Rosandich

Moments of

Belonging

Children and teens in period costumes perform joyfully on stage in front of a city backdrop. One child is lifted off the ground, smiling widely. The text FOR ALL AGES is written diagonally across the image.

“This was an excellent show! This program is clearly motivated by joy AND laughter. I thought it was going to be a largely child focused show, but the content was great for all ages, and had me laughing as much or more than the children. This is such a fun program for Bozeman, where we really need more opportunities for activities that are age inclusive.

This program has something for everyone, which makes it such a great fit this growing community!”

– Max Hatten

A smiling child with long blonde hair and a purple shirt stands with arms outstretched in a large room. The phrase “Finding Your Place” curves above their head in bold white text.

“406Cirque is the best. I can’t say enough good things about Paul, the head coach and owner. My children have been challenged and expanded by the all the coaches and they always have an excellent time.

My daughter told me she finally found a place to be herself and people who accept her.”

– Andrea Newman

A group of kids on stage pose together under the words “Being Authentically You,” smiling and forming a heart shape with their arms. They wear colorful t-shirts and look joyful and energetic.

“My 8 year old had such a positive experience with 406Cirque! 5 weeks with this team allowed her to embody her confidence and silliness while feeling secure to be authentically herself.

The team is amazing!! The gifts of their presence and support was phenomenal! If only I could hire them all year! Looking forward to all the future opportunities to come to work with 406Cirque!”

– Christine Clark

Moments of

Wonder

Aerial performer in a striped bodysuit hangs horizontally from straps on a dark green-lit stage, with the words BLOWN AWAY! in bold white text across the image.

“406Cirque is redefining performing arts in Bozeman. I went to Spookcatular last weekend and I was blown away by this show. The technical level of the performers is simply spectacular!

Some of them should be in America’s Got Talent, hands down! The aerial acts, the characters, the story behind every act…what a show!!!”

– CRB B

A large group of people stand on stage with their arms raised, facing bright stage lights. They wear colorful shirts, and the words “FUN YET EMOTIONAL” curve across the bottom of the image.

“Paúl, Naomi and the other staff are truly special. They managed to take our shy 7 year old twin girls and give them the confidence to perform in front of a live audience.

The performance by all the kids and staff at the end of of the camp was super fun, yet emotional for the parents in attendance seeing their little ones shine with newfound pride in what they have learned. I recommend this camp and anything to do with 406 Cirque.”

– Tim Wheeler

A person with a red clown nose spins a hula hoop and twirling fire batons at night. The text A SENSE OF AWE is curved above their head.

“The performers’ infectious energy and genuine passion for their craft, combined with their comedic talents, created an atmosphere of joy and excitement that was palpable throughout the entire show.

It was a truly unforgettable experience that left you with aching cheeks from laughter and a sense of awe for the incredible talent and creativity that the circus world has to offer. 406Cirque offers a definite 5-star performance that will continue to haunt your memories in the best possible way!”

– Kya West

Moment by moment, person by person, 406Cirque is making an impact in Bozeman and beyond. And there’s more to come!

More Impact Ahead

As we grow into our nonprofit, here’s a sneak peek of the impact to come.

Two illustrated tickets with serrated edges, one overlapping the other. Each ticket has a blue border and a yellow star in the center, drawn in a simple, cartoon style on a white background.

More Scholarships

We’re expanding access so cost is never the barrier between someone and the practice that might change their life.

A person lying on their back with legs raised supports another person balanced upside down on their hands; both are performing an acro yoga pose. The lifter wears red pants; the flyer wears a blue and yellow outfit.

More Partnerships

We’re deepening collaborations with schools and organizations to bring circus arts where they’re needed most.

Three colorful juggling clubs with motion lines, appearing to be tossed in the air. Each club has a different pattern: pink and green, red and blue, and orange with black handles. The background is white.

More Free Offerings

We’re expanding free and low-cost performances so more people can experience the wonder, challenge, and joy of circus.
